Initial door entry was problematic as the key to the security door was inside the apartment and we had to wait until someone came out of the building to get in. The doors to the balcony opened but would not shut and although this was reported and an assurance given that the matter would be attended to, nothing happened. Overall we were pleased with the accommodation and enjoyed the holiday, although the resort was quite hilly, which made it difficult to get around and down to the beach area.

Compared to big resorts Puerto de Santiago was a quiet town perfect for resting and escaping from hustle and bustle. There were some buses to use nevertheless a car was a great option to move around the island from Puerto de Santiago. The beach was rather small with black sand.

The facilities were clean and the breakfast was good. The pictures on line make it look far nicer then it is. Our balcony looked straight across the street into a residential building. The street was very loud. It is located at the end of a shopping strip. The location is far from beach and tourist spots.
I booked it on a 4 star rating but later found it is rated as 2 star.

Very nice place with stunning views but a lot of hills and a lack of artificial beaches. I prefer natural shore though but generally playa La Arena was the only choice in terms of beach time. Nice place to stay for 2 days and move somewhere else. There is almost nothing to do in the evening apart from a couple of bars. But I have to say during my 2 week stay in the winter, the weather was the best in Puerto Santiago and Los Gigantes area. Keep that in mind. Its also a good starting point to see Teide, Masca and Puerto de la Cruz but very far away from Santa Cruz. Next time I will 100% choose Santa Cruz instead of any Tenerife Sur town. Just too many tourists everywhere. Santa Cruz is different.
On the other hand nearby Los Gigantes offers many nice cruises, kayaks, e-bikes, trekking routes etc. So for more active people imo its a good place to be.

A lovely small place with a good choice of restaurants and bars. Probably not for younger holiday makers who may prefer a more lively resort. But if you like a nice relaxing holiday with a good selection of nice bars and places to eat then this is lovely. You must be reasonably fit as the road and paved areas are quite hilly. There are some nice walks to local villages and beaches if you like to walk a bit rather than just sun lounge all day. Lovely place for a relaxing holiday.

we absolutely loved the hotel! The first impression - how cosy it is and a nice reception hall and the aroma smell,
helpful staff - everything tells you that it was the right choice! The room was so spacious (2 rooms isolated with a kitchen corner!) and clean! The cleaners came every day! We are very pleased and didn’t move out)))) The breakfasts are so tasty and the variety of food is awesome. The location is ideal, by the way. I advice this hotel to all our friends planning to go to Tenerife. Thank you for our wonderful holidays!
It was our first visit to Tenerife and we loved our stay at this hotel. The apartment was very big, spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen if you wanted to self cater. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. The pool is lovely and a good temperature. The best thing about our stay though was the view from our balcony as we got a fantastic sunset overlooking the mountains and the sea. We would stay here again if we decide to come back to the island.
love this hotel stayed in Oct and returned in Feb, lovely large balcony, still great view, not as good as last time, but still very very lovely!
lovely atmosphere everyone is so friendly
so many lovely restaurants in the area, this time we tried the Italian just up the side street from bar central opposite hotel was lovely.
also if you go down in los gigantes check out Roso pomad Oro another lovely Italian just back a bit from the square
Fantastic location near the beach, and easy travel to the more tourist orientated parts of Tenerife.
Villa was fantastic, really clean and tidy, pool was lovely and was a very comfortable temperature.
Free Wifi, Smart TV for the kids, right next door to amenities.
Washing Machine on site, particularly handy with 3 children.
Handy offroad parking at the rear with electric gates.
We spent an amazing week in Las Rosas. Loved our villa, the view - spectacular!, we enjoyed the pool, and other facilities (bar, store). We liked the location - visited many beaches around, natural pools, plenty of restaurants close to the hotel, Lidl is just around the corner.
Big shoutout to the employees- smiling, helpful, attentive- thank you, all! We hope to be back
Everything! The apartment is exceptional. Very good value for the space and the amazing view. Very tastefully furnished and the host has thought of all the little touches which make for a very satisfied guest. We would love to stay here again if we return to Tenerife.
I still cannot believe how beautiful the view is, and the balcony is huge! We will miss it
It had amazing view. Probably one of the best views in Puerto de Santiago. The beach was close by. Aldo's pizza was next door. Good pizzas and super nice. The beach was close by and it is possible to order a pizza to the beach (make sure you have Aldo's pizza's phone number).
Nice to have the fridge because we ordered 17 icecreams in home delivery!!!
Rooms with top see view and super clean, Breakfast buffet and different choices in the menu.
3 swimming pools and the pool bar excellent.
Reception Xavier a fantastic welcome and brilliant service.
The best part of my experience in Barcelo was the Staff, I only can say thanks for everything during our stay at the Hotel.
Breakfast was good also the location. Would recommend this hotel! The receptionist Bharti was of great help. Made sure our stay at the hotel was of great ease. Ensuring our trip to Spain was also enjoyable, helping us sort transportation, giving us activity recommendations & directions. No complaints whatsoever.
It was the best apartment I have ever rented. A huge terrace, cozy and well-designed apartment with all necessities, amazing view (sunsets!!!), all attractions nearby as well as a diversity of restaurants and shops, nice swimming pool, and last but not least - the host is amazing!
I think the best place for value that I’ve ever stayed before. Very clean, staff is very friendly, swimming pool is amazing. I’ve seen some reviews about wifi being bad, but it was great for me. Maybe changes have been done before our stay.
I stayed with a friend in this apartment and it was beyond my expectations. the house had everything you need, every confort :) very nice landlady, if i go back to Tenerife i would book this apartment again without thinking twice
The apartment had the most amasing view I have ever seen in my life. It was comfy with some pre-organised suprises like fruit bowl and bottled water. Highly recommended to everyone visiting los gigantes region in Tenerife.
The view is spectacular, I guess best in all Los Gigantes. The terrace is a mirador. We spent 80% of time there. Apartment has everything you need. There’s a supermarket Lidl in 5 min walk down the hill.
Location is exceptional, best beach around is literally meters away. The apartment provides decent comfort and everything you would expect. Decent internet connection.
